Job Title: Reporting Accountant

Department: Finance

Reporting Line: Finance Manager

Responsibilities: Ensure Accurate Posting;
Understanding of the COA (chart of accounts) provided;
Ability to initiate and post accurately transactions into SAGE 300 daily;
Ability to prepare Monthly Reports to the Finance Manager;
Ability to understand foreign exchange management

Competencies Required:
Working knowledge of IFRS
Should be proficient in Accountancy achieved through experience
Strong Numerical Skills
Strong Communication Skills
Ability to multi task
Strongly Proficient in Excel
Understanding of Month End Competencies.

Working knowledge of SAGE Accounting Application
Attention to detail
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Effective time management
Strong interpersonal skills
Management of confidential information
Able to work at optimum speed
Ability to liaise across Units/Departments

  The person must have ACA/ACCA. Experience: 3-5 years.
