Job Description

A construction company in Lagos, Nigeria with vast experience in design & construction, project engineering and management as well as strategic advisory and consultancy services is currently hiring for the below role.
Position: Store keeper
Department: Project & Construction
Reports to: Accountant
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Terms: Full Time
Salary: N80,000k – N100,000k

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
▪️ Executing other site-related duties which may include returning, packing, pricing and labeling materials
▪️ Overseeing and/or exercising general control over all the tools and activities of the store
▪️ Answering questions regarding procedures and resolving issues that may arise on receipts, deliveries,
warranties, repairs, and surplus supply.
▪️ Maintain and keeping track of receipts, record and withdrawals of the stockroom
▪️ Receiving, unloading and shelving supplies
▪️ Cleaning construction equipment and testing them to ensure functionality
▪️ Inspecting the construction site and ensuring that all tools and equipment are complete and in good
▪️ Examining d reviewing deliveries for discrepancies and damage and reporting to necessary personnel
▪️ Take up other duties as assigned

Competencies & Requirements:
▪️ OND/HND/BSc in accounting, Management, Supply and Purchase and other related field of study
▪️ Minimum of 3 years experience as a construction site storekeeper
▪️ Prior experience in storekeeping, inventory control and record keeping
▪️ Numerical/mathematical and Analytical skills.
▪️ Ability to pay attention to details
▪️ Ability to multitask
▪️ Supervisory skills
▪️ Problem-solving skills, very resilient and hands-on
▪️ Good Interpersonal and Communication skills (oral & written)
▪️ Organizational skills with Safety consciousness.
