Head Legal & Compliance
The most senior legal and regulatory officer at Asteric — own the firm’s legal affairs, compliance and corporate governance, end to end.
01 LLB and BL called to the Nigerian Bar — an LL.M in corporate, commercial or capital markets law is strongly preferred. Individual must be SEC – Sponsored.
02 10+ years post-call experience — minimum 5 in a senior in-house legal and/or compliance role at a SEC-regulated firm.
03 Proven direct engagement with the SEC examinations, regulatory correspondence and SEC sponsorship oversight.
04 Deep command of CAMA, SEC Rules, CBN AML/CFT guidelines and Nigerian capital market law.
05 Compliance qualification (ICA, CAMS, ACIS) an advantage, with proven AML/CFT and NFIU reporting oversight.
